Abellar Immigration Consulting Inc. is owned and operated by myself, Charlene Abellar Gonciarz. I am a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants and Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants, and am recognized as an authorized representative.
I was born and raised in Iloilo, Philippines where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from West Visayas State University.
After a lot of careful deliberation, I decided to migrate to Canada as a Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) in 2007 and became a Permanent Resident (PR) in 2012. My journey to become a PR took longer than anticipated due to changes in immigration rules. However, due to these changes, my appreciation for the courage, determination and hard work involved to successfully move permanently to Canada deepened. Going through the immigration process myself inspired me to support others to navigate the Canadian immigration system and requirements.
Prior to launching Abellar Immigration Consulting Inc., I worked as a Network Support Representative for one of the biggest telecommunications companies in Canada for eight years. Since the birth of my two daughters, I decided to follow my passion for supporting others and pursued the Immigration Consultant Diploma in 2020 and graduated with honors. Further to my diploma, I successfully completed the licensure exam and have received authority to practice Immigration.
My professional goal is to help individuals fulfill their dreams of becoming Canadian PRs and Citizens, reunite families that have been separated for a long time, and help everyone build their lives in Canada. Being a fellow immigrant to Canada has been an amazing journey for me and I am ready to help others with theirs!
